The Curators: Brand video marketing to support new product launches
The Curators are an award winning snack brand. The brainchild of Max and Ed and their love for snacks, food and adventurous flavours started with beef jerky.
Curious Crab productions has been working with them from the beginning, creating supporting assets for their original range of products (beef jerky, biltong and pork puffs). Most recently, and as they venture into the frozen aisles of the supermarkets with their delicious and innovative mushroom burgers and mushroom meatballs, The Curators team approached Curious Crab productions with the task of creating a series of compelling videos to support the launch of the product.
+ The Project
The Curators were launching a completely new range of mushroom burgers and mushroom meatballs into Tesco in January 2021 and wanted to launch with a bang. As a modern, start-up brand, they have always seen content marketing as a top priority and therefore enquired about a series of trendy videos to support their new product range launch.
+ Curious Crab Approach
To support their new range, we developed a number of recipes for them that showcased their new meatballs and burgers along with a corresponding video for each recipe. To sit in with the ‘coolness’ of the The Curators brand, we designed and dressed the background of our filming studio kitchen to bring out the modern, trendy feel of their marketing and brand guidelines. Each recipe video we produced for them followed a ‘how to’, step-by-step format, with a versatile mix of food beauty shots and camera angles that brought out the best of the ingredients.
