Proware Kitchen: Educational Brand Videos

Proware produces quality cookware used by professional chefs and the discerning home cook. The perfect fit for Curious Crab Productions, a production company with a passion for creating high quality films for the food and travel industry.

+ The Project

Proware approached Curios Crab Productions with a brief to create a series of educational videos for the brand. Proware’s Pro-Tips, for choosing and caring for copper and stainless steel pans, would cover six core topics: cleaning copper cookware, cleaning stainless steel cookware, copper colours, induction cooking with Proware, cooking with stainless steel pans, and caring for your non-stick cookware. The idea was to create simple, easy to follow instructions, using colourful pop ups, while emphasising the lustrous nature of the metal pans.

+ Curious Crab Approach

Using a mix of animation and reality, we set to work on six short, high energy videos. Each video featured animated, hand drawn pop ups, on pastel-coloured backgrounds, which communicated the core tips and instructions in an accessible, elegant way. While the Proware pots and pans were put to work in our studio kitchen, to demonstrate their superior functionality and luxe finish. The result is a series of quality visuals that educate customers, while showing off the elegant range of quality cookware Proware have to offer.
