Miso Tasty: Building the brand story through video
Miso Tasty is becoming a very well-known UK brand who seem to be taking charge of Japanese ingredients across the supermarket shelves. Bonnie, the founder of Miso Tasty first contacted us through youngfoodies.co.uk with a clear idea of what she wanted from a third party video production agency.
Over the years, the Miso Tasty team had dabbled in video marketing on an ad-hoc basis, but were looking to work with a production company who understood food as well as the ins and outs of video production, but who could also discuss and devise a video strategy that worked well with their marketing campaigns and ultimate commercial goals. After just a couple of key briefing meetings, the split was clear to our production team at Curious Crab Productions HQ: To start with The Spontaneous Crab style videos for immediate NPD launches and then continue through and look further into the brand story with our full “The Curious Crab” service.
Our work with Miso Tasty continues and is with our teams’ curiosity at it’s peak whilst we start to learn about the Miso Tasty brand and what makes THEM so hungry for supermarket shelf space!
+ The Project
When we started working with Miso Tasty, their existing Instagram audience was already pretty strong, however most of their posts were static images and photography and they felt that video would bring out their brand personality in a more fun and interactive way. We have been working with Miso tasty for over a year now and have created a plethora of videos from new product launches to brand videos and short simple recipe videos that show of the many different ways of using their products.
